Betty was born in El Paso, Texas and grew up in Dallas, Texas where she graduated from Sunset High School. She retired from Mobil Oil in 1978 after 30 years of service. After retirement she spent her time reading, attending retirement and book club meetings, travelling, and dining and attending musicals and plays in the Dallas area.
She is survived by nephews Duane Cunningham (Jeana) and Dale Cunningham. Great nephews Drew Cunningham and Travis Cunningham (Ashley).
She is entombed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
