Bauer Funeral Will Be Held on Saturday
Funeral services for Harry M. Bauer, aged 26, who died in Tulare August 5, will be held at Payne and Son chapel at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon under the auspices of the Frank S. Reynolds Post of the American Legion.
W. C. Dorris, Chaplin, will be in charge of the service and color bearer and firing squad of the Legion will pay final tribute to the deceased. Interment will be in the American Legion plot in Union Cemetery.
The deceased was a World War veteran and had been residing at Lebec for four years. He leaves many friends in Kern county. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Effie Bauer; his mother, Mrs. G. H. Harris of Earlimart; his stepfather, G. H. Harris, of Earlimart; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Godley of Bakersfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Adams of Pixley and another who resides in Colorado.
