Edgar D. Shockley, 89, of Deerfield, Fla.; formerly of Huntsville, Ala., died Tuesday in Florida. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Phil Hundley and the Rev. Cary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in State Line Cemetery.
Mr. Shockley was retired from Martin Industries and was a member of the West Huntsville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jody Shockley; three sons, J. M. Shockley of Hazel Green, Louis Shockley of Florence and Dean Shockley of Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Robertson of Huntsville and Mrs. Sarah Frees of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
