A man and woman were killed on Sunday when their motorcycles collided on Texas 183 in a six vehicle accident.

Eldridge Hill, 42, and Luchreica Lucas, 21, were pronounced dead at 7:56 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Dallas medical examiner's office. Hill was from Fort Worth. Lucas was listed as residing in Arlington by the medical examiner's office while the Irving police department listed her from Fort Worth.

Around 7:40 p.m. Sunday, Irving police officers responded to a major accident in the 1400 block of E. Texas 183 that involved six vehicles, including Hill's black 2004 Suzuki Hayabusa and a 2002 black Honda CBR954 driven by Lucas.

Hill and Lucas were westbound on 183 at high speeds when they ran into stalled traffic because of debris on the roadway, according to a police statement. They could not stop because they were traveling too fast and collided with each other before striking a van, the statement said.

Lucas and Hill also hit four other vehicles before coming to a stop, the statement said. Both died at the scene. The police department's statement did indicate whether they were wearing helmets.

Lucas' cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma by the medical examiner's office. A cause of death was not listed for Hill.
