Merlin C. Dickow, 67, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2004, in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

He was a retired Maintenance Mechanic for DuPont and the Harrisburg YMCA.

He was a member of the United Church of God of Harrisburg; a U.S. Air Force Veteran and enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his loving wife of 40 years, Theresa V. Stravinsky Dickow; two sons, Merlin C. "JR" Dickow, Jr., of New Cumberland and Anthony W. "Tony" Dickow of Harrisburg; four daughters, Carol A. Nitchman of Elizabethtown, Cheryl M. Digon of Mechanicsburg, Anita L. Sabol of Dillsburg and Theresa V. "Snook" Radic of Highspire; three brothers, Chester, Richard and Jerry Dickow, all of Wisconsin; three sisters, Ruby Donato of Illinois, Florence Bies and Carol Dearborn, both of Wisconsin; and twelve grandchildren.

Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2004, in his church, 1211 Fairmont Drive, Harrisburg.

Entombment with Military Honors will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Township.

A viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Monday in his church.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 1211 Fairmont Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
