Billy Weldon Richardson, age 71, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at his home. Billy was born August 13, 1943, in Naples, Texas to Talton Boyd Richard and Iva Mae Hicks Richardson.

Billy retired from Red River Army Depot, where he was an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Supervisor. He was a member at Rocky Point Congregational Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Billy was a farmer. He was a dedicated hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Billy is survived by his wife, Mary Richardson, of Naples, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Paige Richardson of Bryans Mill, Texas; one daughter, Lisa McEntire of Omaha, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Don and Irene Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dwaine Higgins and Bro. Roddy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Creekmore Cemetery in Naples. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Creekmore Cemetery Association.
