Mrs. Nancy Snyder
The death angel visited another home in the County Wednesday, May 19, and removed from the midst of the loving home circle, and the many neighbors and friends made dear by a constant association of years a good Christian woman, friend and neighbor, Mrs. Nancy Snyder.Death occurred at her old home place two and a half miles North of Joppa Wednesday from what is reported to have been heart trouble. Mrs. Snyder was at the time of her death nearly 72 years of age. She was a member of the Christian church and loved and respected by the entire community. To mourn her death are six children surviving; four boys and two girls, these being Mrs. Sam Gurley of Metropolis, Mrs. Will Tucker of Noble, ILL., James, Will and John Snyder of this county, and Robert of Paragould, Ark.The funeral services were conducted from the home near Joppa Friday by Rev. Robert Smith and interment was made in the I.O.O.F> Cemetery near Joppa. This paper extends its sympathy to those who are left to mourn the loss of a loved mother, relative and friend.
