Woman, 81, Dies Last Sunday At Wyoming Home
WYOMING — Mrs. Fred W. Westphal, 81, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec 19, at the home of her son, Clare Westphal, Wyoming, after a long illness. Funeral service was held at the Clare Westphal home at 1 p.m. and at the Zion American Lutheran church, Wyoming, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22.
Wyoming Burial
Rev. R. F. Gronewold officiated and burial was in Wyoming cemetery. Wallace funeral home was in charge. Mrs. Westphal is survived by her husband, three children, Mrs. Melvin Martensen and Clare, Wyoming, and Mrs. Sidney Holden, Buffalo, NY ; six grandsons and one great grand-daughter.
Others Survive
Three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Petersen, Mrs. Margaret Carstensen and Mrs. Martin Petersen, all of Oxford Junction; one brother, Hans Ahrendsen, Correctionville,also survive.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, who died in infancy, her parents and one sister.
