Mrs. Malinda Everett died Aug. 19, 1909, at the home of her son, Milton, aged 88. She was born in Hagerston, Md, on Feb. 7, 1821 and moved early to Clark County, Ohio. She married Ephraim Postal in 1850. He died in 1853. Three children were born-Ann, George W. and John C.

In 1855, she married Thomas Everett. Five children were born-Reena, Darius, William A, Charles G. and Milton S. In 1865, they moved to Holt County, MO. She leaves George W and John C. Postal, William A, Charles G. and Milton S. Everett.

Note: Possibly Malinda is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, but since it is documented that Thomas Everett is buried in the Old Mound City Cemetery, it is logical that she is also.
