Services for Estelle McCord, 83 of Tahoka were held Monday, February 24, 1986 in Tahoka First Baptist Church with Dr. George Ray, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Tahoka Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home. She died Saturday February 22, 1986 at Lynn County Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born October 2, 1902. She moved to Lynn County in 1916 from Hillsboro. She married H. B. McCord Sr. on February 5, 1921 in Lynn County. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, H. B. Jr. of Tahoka; three grandsons, Terry, Gary and Jim McCord; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were E. L. Short, Harry Lee Short, B. L. Thomas, Dwayne McNeely, Bill Griffin and Nick Summitt.
