She married Ronald Lewis Stockhoff in August 1960 and, because he was in the Air Force, they spent 22 years stationed at various bases around the U.S. and in Japan. In 1976, after Ron retired from his Air Force career, they relocated to Klamath Falls.
Dolores had an exceptional work ethic, a giving heart and spent many hours with her granddaughters when they were young. She loved doing crafts with them and teaching them to bake and garden. She enjoyed going to all of the girls' athletic events and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on, whether in town or out of town.
Dolores worked for Sky Lakes Medical Center (Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital), KMSB, PH&L, Regence Blue Cross, and CCC. After her own retirement, she began quilting. She was a volunteer with the Guilded Quilters at Sky Lakes Medical Center, made quilts and blankets for Project Linus, and was one of a group of quilters who named themselves the "Divas."
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, father, mother and husband.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Crosby (Cary) of Klamath Falls, and Richard Stockhoff (Sherry) of Bend; granddaughters, Kaitlin Crosby of Corvallis, and Kaelea Crosby of Portland; and many beloved friends.
