George Akers Dies at Forsyth Saturday

George Akers, who was born on November 22, 1865, at Wurtland KY, and who has been a resident of Prairie County for the last 19 years, died on Saturday night at 11:30 in the Forsyth hospital.
Mr Akers came to Montana a a homesteader, with his family, and located on a homestead about eight miles south of Terry until 1918. Since that time he had been living in Terry.
Mr Akers' funeral was held from the Community church, with the Rev Reek of the Methodist church of Forsyth, and the pastor, Rev F B Gigltotti, officiating.
Mr Akers is survived by his wife, five children and three grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by the community to which he has give so many years of useful and exemplary citizenship, and by his many friends in particular.
