Obituary:
PIONEER OF WEST DEAD
This pioneer of the Inland Empire, J. J. Palmer, died last week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Worthington, at Deer Park.

Mr. Palmer had made his home in eastern Washington for 32 years, having come to Spokane with his family from Illinois in 1887. He was superintendent of the packing department of the Washington Cracker Company for a time and then moved to his ranch on Silver Lake, where he remained until the death of Mrs. Palmer in 1906. He had since made his home with relatives at Walla Walla, Yakima, and in Deer Park.

Mr. Palmer left his $5,000 estate to his children in the will filed for probate yesterday. The children are Asa C. Palmer, Norman B. Palmer, Fannie B. Scholer and Carrie P. Worthington. Charles A. Palmer of Yakima and William Worthington of Deer Park will act as executors.
