He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Burton Campbell; sons, Danny (Candy) of Edinburgh, Charles Fritz Campbell of Edinburgh, and Harold (Sherry) Griggs of Franklin; a daughter, Judy Campbell of Kentucky; stepsons, Jimmy (Marilyn) Burton of Edinburgh, Jackie Burton of Taylorsville, Jerry Burton of Franklin, Johnny Burton of Franklin, and Junior Burton of Edinburgh; stepdaughters, Judy (Gene) Coy of Edinburgh, and Julie Ford of Franklin; a brother, Floyd D. (Ruby) Campbell of Greenwood; a stepbrother, Charles Edward Farrell of Columbus; and a sister, Maxine Blair of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by a son, Vannie Griggs; and stepsons, Jeff and James Burton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
