They are the parents of eight children according to a newspaper notice at the time of Eva's death of typhoid fever. Not all of the children are at this time known. Another article a couple of days later notes that four others in the family were also ill but were recovering.

The death of Albert Baxter occurred at the General Hospital in Rochester, on Monday January 23.
He is survived by five sons, Myron of Walker; William of Gaum Panama; Dayton of Rochester; Lewis of Perry and Bert of Oakfield and one daughter Mrs. Arthur Curtis of Holley.
Funeral services were held at his home in Emerson Street at 12:45, Wednesday and at the Walker Baptist Church at 2 o'clock. Interment in Blossom Cemetery in Walker. There is no marker at Stephen's resting place.
