SULLIVAN - Bill Lynn Grady, 55, of Sullivan, died 4:29 p.m. Saturday (October 22, 2011) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Celebration of Life services will be Noon Wednesday at the Reed Funeral Home with the Pastor Charliam Renner officiating. Burial will be in the Camfield Cemetery, Sullivan. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to the Growing Strong Sexual Assault Center.
Mr. Grady was born February 2, 1956 in Decatur, the son of Henry B. and Mary Catherine White Grady. Bill was an RN for St. Mary's Hospital for over 32 years. He volunteered for the Majestic Bingo Hall in Mt. Zion working with the Growing Strong organization of Decatur.
Bill married Marsha King on September 6, 1975 in Christopher, IL and she survives. Other survivors include his children, April Lynette (Gus) Grady-Reyna of Mesa, AZ and Brandon Alexander Grady of Downers Grove, IL; granddaughter, Amelita Reyna; grandson, Reilly Alexander Grady; sister, Sue Kirk of Cowden, IL; nephew, Henry F. Grady of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
