SULLIVAN -- Debbie Kay (Moore) Barker, 59, of Sullivan passed away 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial will be in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Debbie was born February 12, 1956 in Decatur, the daughter of William Warren and Maxine Ruth (Cheatham) Moore. She was an employee at the Moultrie County Beacon as a care giver. She worked with and dedicated her life to helping the developmentally disabled.
She is survived by her sons, Curtis (Amber) Barker of Effingham, Bryan (Trish Bingham) Barker of Mattoon; brother, Jeff (Dee) Moore of Sullivan; sister, Pam (Don) Aldrich of Decatur; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Brylyn Barker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Moore Jr.
