Daughter of Jehu Cox and Sarah Pyle Cox, Rachel Ann Cox Brady was the eighth child of sixteen. That literally put her in the middle. She crossed the plains with her family and arrived in Salt Lake City in September 1848. She gave birth to fifteen children losing only one in infancy. The Grandmother of 105 and Great-Grandmother of hundreds more. She was well loved and her unwavering spirit is dearly missed.
