Both Elkanah and wife Mary were living in the census of 1910. Neither are seen in any future Census data. At least one Ancestry contributor has date specific death date and location. That info they hold is from a family source. Given that his son Millard Filmore Tester is proven to be buried in the Stophel Cemetery and that Millard's son Claude is probably buried in Stophel, along with the death date's for Millard and Claude and that provided for Elkanah by the Ancestry Contributor, I believe that there is a very strong possibility that Elkanah and wife Mary are also buried in this community cemetery. Private Elkanah Tester, Company F, 13th Tennessee Volunteer Cavalry, USA. Enlisted September 22, 1863 and mustered in November 8, 1863.
