South Schroon - Edith R. Hall, 85 died Aug. 20 in Glens Falls Hospital after an extended illness.
Born May 30, 1902, in South Schroon, she was the daughter of Alfred and Ida Persons Richardson.
Mrs. Hall was a former employee of the Schroon Lake Central School and a lifelong resident of South Schroon. Survivors include her husband, Jasper Hall of South Schroon; a daughter, Naomi Hall of South Schroon and Fort Worth, Texas, two sons, James V. Hall of Schroon Lake and Robert K. Hall of Fort Worth; a sister, Edna Stone of Lake Luzzerne; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Edward l. Kelly Funeral Home, Schroon Lake.
Interment was in the Schroon Lake Community Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Schroon Lake Ambulance Fund.
