A sad accident occurred last Thursday the 15. While Frank Bloomquist was mowing on the old Peachey place, an electrical storm suddenly came up and just as he had unhitched his team the lightening struck him, killing him instantly.

Frank was born in Spruce Valley Dec. 14, 1885, and has resided here all his life. He was an honest, upright, hard working young man, being the mainstay at home, his father having died 10 years ago.

His death is mourned by his mother, three sisters, a brother and many other relatives, besides a host of friends. His sisters are Mrs. W.J. Ledin, of Wadena, Sask; Mrs. Hilda Anderson and Alma Bloomquist, of this place. His brother Emil is yet too small to take is place on the farm. The funeral was held Saturday at two o’clock, Rev.
