Mildred Peggy Braggs, 82, longtime West Frankfort resident, passed away at 7:21 PM, Thursday, June 11, 1998, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born November 17, 1915, in Peaks, Il, the daughter of Wallace and Ada (Churchhill) Martin.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Cheryl Braggs of West Frankfort and 13 grandchildren. She is also a great and a great-great-grandmother. Other survivors include two sisters, Marcella ahd her husband, James, Harper of West Frankfort and Alverta Stacey, also of West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Jack Braggs and two brothers, John and Jack Martin.
Mrs. Braggs attended Glad Tidings Church.
