Robert Casto 66 of Rogers died Mar. 10 at St. Mary's Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1920 at Una, Ark., to Robert and Nellie Horn Casto. He retired in May 1982 after 16 years with the Roger Police Department as a Lieutenant, was the departments polygraph operator and headed the Criminal Investigation Division at the time of his retiremnt,, He operated a private polygraph business in Rogers. He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service, was a mason and was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include his widow Zerina of the home; on son James Casto of Rogers; two daughters, Jauanita Casto of Fort Smith, and Cathy Spann of Rogers; Three sisters, Mae Barnhouse of Exeter, Mo., Ina Jones of Russellville and Pearl Stroman of Terrell, Texas; two grandchildren.
Grave side service is set for 2 pm. Thursday at St Vincent Cemetery with Msgr. John E. Murphy officiating under the direction of Callison- Lough Funeral Home. [Wed., Mar. 11, 1987 N.W.A. Morning News.]
