Funeral Services Held Last Friday

Ms. Ada Sickles, widow of Chas. F. Sickles, passed away at her home in Grove street, Tuesday, June 2, 1936. She was born in Pittsford on June 12, 1861.

In May, 1883, she was united in marriage to Charles F. Sickles, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1933.

Mrs. Sickles was a member of the Baptist church, and when health permitted was a regular attendant at church services. She wan also a member of Starlight Rebekah lodge, and one of the oldest past noble grands of the local lodge.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Iva Bandford of Philadelphia Pa, Miss Blanche Sickles of Rochester, and Albert Sickles of Detroit Mich. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home, with services at the grave in charge of members of Starlight Rebekah Lodge.

The bearers were: Robert McConnell, H. D Walden, Fred H. Mills, Harold Calkins, Scott D. Allen and George B. Hayward.
