Anthony COPP (1576-1654) of Honely in Warwickshire, England made his will dated 16 January 1653 in which he left legacies to: wife, Denny; "my brother William COPP who is in New England"; my brother Walter COPP; kinswoman Hannah EDWARDS, kinsman Thomas COPP; kinsman Richard HEATH for the use of his children; kinsman Richard TIPPIN, for the use of his children which he hath by my kinswoman Elizabeth, his wife; kinsman John WARD; my cousin Samuel COPPS; and Mary Busbie for her children. His brother, Walter COPP, was named executor; and cousin Samuel COPP, Robert GARDNER and Thomas BAKEN were to be overseers.
