MRS. MARY F. HARRISON

Mrs. Mary Freeman Harrison, age 82 years, was born in, and lived her entire life in Hardin County.
Mrs. Harrison died Friday, February 26, 1943, 9:50 A. M., at the home of her oldest son, Hardin Harrison.
She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church, remaining a very active member of the East End Methodist Church until within the last few weeks. Her life had also been one of usefulness to her family, community and friends.
Funeral services were held at the East End Methodist Church; interment at Mt. Hermon, Rev. Jas. Elder, pastor, officiated. Hymns were sung by a quartet composed of Mr. Edwin DeFord, Mr. Jamie Johnson, Mrs. Ina Parrott, and Mrs. Charlie Byrd, accompanied by Mrs. Elsie DeFord.
There are six children surviving; Hardin Harrison, Mrs. Jess Dobbins, Rush Harrison, and Warner Harrison, all of Savannah, Tenn.; L. A. Harrison of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Mrs. Dona Collie of Springfield, Ohio. She left two sisters, Mrs. D. A. Shaw and Mrs. Thomas Basey, both of Savannah; 27 grandchildren survive, with 3 of these now in the service of their country: Pfc. Jesse D. Dobbins, Ft. Benning, Ga.; Fes. W. J. Collie, Great Lakes, Ill.; and Pvt. Hardin Harrison, Ft. Bragg, N.C.; 22 great grandchildren survive.
Out of town relatives who attend the funeral of Mrs. Harrison were: Mr. L. A. Harrison of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Dona H. Collie and son, Bernis of Springfield, Ohio; Mrs. Jacobs Turnage, the former Anne Pearl Harrison of Fayette, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Simpson and Mrs. Harry Rogers of Corinth, Miss.; Mrs. Rush Harrison and daughter, Miss Bobbie Harrison, who are employed in Memphis; and Mr. and Mrs. Joe White of Killen, Ala.
