RACINE - Lois J. (nee: Fenner) Markson, 47, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2003, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Racine on February 1, 1956, to Bruce and Ruth (nee: Fiedler) Fenner. Lois was a lifelong resident of Racine. She was united in marriage in Racine to John Markson in 1988. Lois was a stay-at-home mother, who enjoyed crafts, decorating her home, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband; children, Katie Markson, Jason (Stephanie) Barber, and Jerrid Barber, all of Racine; her sister, Del (Tom) Jonas of Dunbar; and a brother, Darryl (Jean) Fenner of Washburn. Lois is further survived by her grandchildren, Alyssa, Amanda, and Ayden Barber; her father, Bruce of Pembine; nieces and nephews, Kory, Kyle, and Klaton Jonas; and sisters-in-law, Sally Meldgaard and Mary Isenberg. Lois is also survived by other family and friends. Her mother, Ruth preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the Hanson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at 11 a.m. There will be a visitation at the Funeral home on Monday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.
