Lee Penn Harcum, 62, of Salisbury died suddenly, Monday, July 27, 2015 in Mardela Springs. Born in Mardela Springs he was the son of W. Blan Harcum, Sr. and the late Louise Mary Davis Harcum. Lee graduated from Mardela High School and attended Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC. He was a lifelong farmer, and held various positions, including golf course superintendant, at several local golf courses. He was an avid pool player, district representative of the APA Pool League, and a past member of the Jaycees. He enjoyed spending his summers outdoors with family and friends by the pool. In addition to his father, Blan, he is survived by his wife, Charlene Wright Harcum; siblings, W. Blan Harcum, Jr. and his wife Megan, Angie E. Harcum, and R. Linwood Harcum and his wife Vicky; uncle and aunt, E. Linwood Davis, Jr. and Lucy Davis; stepsons, Justin W. Williamson and his wife Marjorie, and Jacob R. Williamson and his wife Gwendolyn; granddaughter, Rhian E. Williamson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward C. and Ellen D. Wright; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barbara and Barry Williams, Janet and Rick Mercer, and Keenan Wright; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Rev. Donna Hinkle will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Lee to Snethen United Methodist Church, C/O Jan Frey, 4203 Delmar Rd., Delmar, DE 19940 or Emmanuel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 126, Mardela Springs, MD 21837.
