Thomas E. Wilson 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and formerly of Newton and Mattoon, passed away at 7:45 am Saturday, July 6, 2002, at the Baxter Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, July 9, at the Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton. Funeral services were held at 1:30 pm Wednesday, July 10 at the funeral home. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Newton.
Mr. Wilson was born November 25, 1920, in Hunt city, the son of William Henry and Edith (McKinney) Wilson. He married Deloris Meeks on August 2, 1941 and she survives. He was a retired mechanic and attended the Living Word church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Wilson is survived by a daughter, Cathy Farmer, Ft. Worth, Texas and a granddaughter, Brandi Nichole Farmer, Ft. Worth Texas.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Gordon R. Wilson, three infant daughters, 4 brothers and 7 sisters.
