Figure Skater, Singer. Carley was born in and raised in Toronto, Canada. While attending high school at Bayview Glen School, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer that affects only one in a billion. She gained local, national and even international attention. She never let her illness stop her from doing what she loved most. Her determination, strength and perseverance captured the hearts of many. She passed away on March 31, 2015 after the cancer she had spread to her lungs. There is a foundation named in her memory called "Carley's Angels", and is the subject of "Kiss and Cry", a movie based on her story.

OBITUARY:

Passed away peacefully in Toronto, Ontario on March 31, 2015 at the age of 19. Carley was survived by her father, Mark Allison, her mother, May Allison (nee Alizadeh), her sisters, Riley and Samantha, and her very dear friend, John Servinis.

Carley courageously confronted her rare illness and refused to allow it to silence her passions, namely enjoying the company of her loved ones, competing in figure skating, writing music and singing. In so doing, she inspired many others afflicted with cancer and positively enriched the lives of everyone she came into contact with. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
