Abram E. Gregory, 56, of Leary Road, Ryde, died Tuesday morning in a Sacramento hospital after a long illness. A native of Duncan, Okla., he grew up there and farmed, and was married July 22, 1929.
In 1943 he moved to Los Angeles, and in 1952, he came to Ryde, where he worked for 13 years as a laborer on the Brown Brothers ranch.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearly Gregory of Ryde; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Ruth Smith of Los Angeles; two brothers, Walter Gregory of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Conny Gregory of Duncan, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
