JOHN WILLIAM "JACKIE" HEPBURN, known to many as "Jackie" passed away on August 3, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Jackie was born in Niagara Falls, New York on April 25, 1952 to John and Susan Hepburn. He spent most of his life residing in the greater Pasadena-La Porte area. After graduating from La Porte High School in 1971, he made a living for himself by working as a Sandblaster and Painter before retiring.
During his free time, he was an all-around cowboy. Rarely seen without his cowboy hat, he enjoyed bull riding, fishing, hunting, caring for his beloved animals, and watching wrestling any chance he got.
Jackie is survived by his two daughters Emily Mcduffie and Candice Griemel, step-Daughter Stacy Miller; Four granddaughters Courtney Kilgore, Avyn McDuffie, Briston McDuffie and Raegan Christiana; Brother Frank Waddle and wife Joann, Sister Fran Spacek and husband Larry, and Brother-in law Lynn Whittington. He is preceded in death by his mother Susan Waddle, sister Cathy Whittington, and son-in-laws Jarrett Griemel and Odell McDuffie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M. at Grand View Funeral Home with funeral services at 10:00 A.M., interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
