MR. DAVID W. ABBOTT, age 52, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday afternoon, August 7, 2015, in Olive Hill, Kentucky. He was born August 2, 1963, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of Willie "Bill" and Judy Wilson Abbott of Olive Hill, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, David is survived by four brothers and one sister-in-law, Gary and Debbie Abbott of Georgetown, Kentucky, Larry Abbott of Frankfort, Kentucky, Robert Abbott of Lexington, Kentucky, and William "Wink" Abbott of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one sister, Cheryl Price of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and one half-sister and her husband, Sonja and Chuck Barber of Cincinnati, Ohio. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery with Brother Bob Stapleton officiating. Friends may visit from 6 p.m. till 9 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2015, and until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearhart Street, Olive Hill, Kentucky, 41164 for Mr. David W. Abbott. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
