BARROWS Hubert Henry Barrows, son of the late Levi Henry and Clara Crandal Barrows was born in Clark County Mo. on June 17, 1877, and departed this life at his home in Shandin Hills, San Bernardino, Calif., being 49 years, of age on the day of his death. He was married to Lillian A. Cook in October, 1899, and to this union was born one son, who died in infancy. They have been gone from Missouri nearly 25 years, having lived in O'Keene, Okla., until within the last few years, when they located in Calif. He was a blacksmith and mechanic by trade and was very efficient along that line. He was affiliated with the Cedar Grove Baptist church south of Kahoka, and it can by truthfully said of him, "He was a good man." His death was due to heart trouble with which he had been afflicted for some time but his last illness was of short duration. He leaves to mourn his sudden passing his bereaved companion, Mrs. Lillian Barrows, one sister and three brothers, namely: Mrs. Fannie Moore of Newark, Mo.; T.A. Barrows of Kahoka; Guy Barrows of Dallas City, Ill., and Roy Barrows of San Antonio, Texas, besides other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 19, 1926, at 2 p.m. Interment in San Bernardino, Calif. In this issue will be found the obituary of Herbert Henry Barrows. After its printing, there was received a correction in the date of his birth, which should read June 30, 1876.
