Mrs. Alice Edell Hilbun, 83. of Rt. 1, Box 30AA, Delco, died at the home of Mrs. Grace Hayes Saturday after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hilbun was born in Columbus County on Feb. 16, 1893, and was the daughter of the late Montier and Mattie Horrel Bordeaux. She was the widow of John Daton Hilbun.
Surviving are a son, Rodney Hilbun of Goldsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Clarice Millinor, Mrs. Elsia Bordeaux and Mrs. Grace Hayes, all of Delco: two brothers, T. J. Bordeaux of Petersburg, Va., and W. F. Bordeaux of Delco; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will he held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Prosper Baptist Church with the Rev. Avery Long officiating. Interment will he in the Livingston Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Grace Hayes, with whom Mrs. Hilbun made her home, Rt 1 Box 30AA, Delco.
