A BROTHER of G. W. Augustson of Dale township was kicked on the head and nearly killed this week by a horse. One eye was destroyed and his nose broken. We learn today that he will be taken to a Sioux City hospital.

After reaching the hospital at Sioux City last week, Alfred Augustson, brother of August Augustson, died from the injuries received from the kick of a horse, mention of which was made in "The Times" of last week. He died Saturday morning. The skull had been fractured and it was evident that he could not live.
His age was about twenty-five years.

The body was brought to the home of his brother here and the funeral was held Sunday there, the funeral services being under the direction of Rev. Thompson of Paullina. The body was buried at Prairie View.
