Boyd Lengel Mills passed away December 4, 2013 in Kansas City, MO. He was born on August 2, 1931 in Sterling, KS to Frank and Anne Mills. He attended Alden High School and later served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. He was a bank president in Lewis and Ft. Scott, KS. Following his banking career he was a financial planner in Arizona and Kansas.
Boyd married Nancy Lee Aschman on July 1, 1954. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2000.
Survivors include three sons, Terry (Karen) Mills, Joplin, MO; Brian (Brenda) Mills, Lawrence, KS; and Steve (Karla Huff) Mills, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; six grandchildren, Katie, Sarah and Conner Mills; Morgan and Joseph Mills; and Finlee Mills.
A celebration of Boyd's life will be held in January 2014.
