Funeral services for Mrs. Adeline Hubbard, a resident of Carter and Powder River Counties, Montana since 1915, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the First Baptist Church, Broadus, Mont. The Rev. Richard Kalbach will officiate. Internment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Broadus, under the direction of the Fidler Funeral Chapel, Spearfish. Mrs. Hubbard died unexpectedly Friday evening in the Northern Hills Nursing Home, Belle Fourche.
Mrs. Hubbard was born July 14, 1892, and moved with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mann, to Piniele, Mont. in 1915. she worked for some time on the Aldrich Ranch where Hammond, Mont., is now located. She was married in 1917 (sic, really 1915) to Ralph Nieman in Belle Fourche. They ranched on the Powder River northeast of Broadus. He died in 1943. Mrs. Nieman married R. C. Hubbard March 7, 1944, and they were ranchers near Broadus. Hubbard died in 1971. In June of that year Mrs. Hubbard moved to the nursing home.
Survivors include sons James Nieman, Orval Mann, Broadus; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
