Alice M. Knievel of Fort Collins passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014, at the age of 99. A daughter of Fred J. Watson and Mary Murphy Watson, Alice married Rudy Knievel on September 12,1939, in West Point, NE. They were anticipating their 70th anniversary when Rudy passed in 2009. Alice and Rudy made their home in West Point until 1960, where she was a beautician. They then lived in Greeley, CO, for a short while, and in Loveland, CO, from 1963 until 1978, where she owned her own salon. They then moved to Fort Collins where they retired. After retirement Alice enjoyed her time playing bridge, knitting afghans for her children and watching sports on television. She and Rudy were parishioners at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Fort Collins. She was part of the Ladies Auxiliary organization at SEAS. Alice is survived by five children, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter [survivor names omitted]. Preceding Alice were her parents, two sisters and two bothers and her son, Richard Knievel and grandson, Ron Knievel. Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Allnutt Funeral Service. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Friday at Allnutt. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 19, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
