Helen M. Knox, 86, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Higginsville City Cemetery. Rev. Richard Luebbering will officiate. Friends may call Thursday, Aug. 12, until 5 p.m. at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church. Born July 30, 1918, in Higginsville, she was the daughter of the late John Collier and Mary Ann Kosmiski Collier. On Dec. 25, 1936, in Higginsville, she married Leroy Knox, who preceded her in death July 9, 1996. She had lived in Marshall since 1949, moving from Jefferson City. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Survivors include two sons, James Lee "Jimmy" Knox of Dover, Ark., and John Allen Knox of the home; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Loretta Frances Knox; one sister, Thelma Davis; and one grandson.
