She was born 7/16/1931 in North Bangor, the daughter of the late Henry & Florence Woods Hurteau.
She married Dale L. Turner on 4/20/1949. He died on 4/18/2014.
They owned the Turner U Pick Farm where they grew strawberries for several years, along with managing the family dairy farm. Elaine loved filling the family home with the aromas with her famous fresh baked bread, along with many other tasty treats.
She worked as a home health aide and served on the board for Maple Leaf Housing, and was a past member of the Farm Bureau and the local Grange. For several years she served on the Franklin County Dairy Princess Committee.
She was survived two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Linda) DeBeer, Mrs. Reginald (Carolyn) Louey, and a son, Douglas Turner (Geraldine); eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
