Mr. Cecil Adams, age 75, passed away Sunday evening, August 09, 2015, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Cecil is the husband of Lori Adams of Pope, MS.

Services for Mr. Adams will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS.

Cecil was born June 5, 1940 in in Thomastown, MS to the late Cecil Lanuel Adams and Helen Williamson Adams. He retired after 31 years from United Parcel Service in Memphis where he was a feeder driver. During his lifetime, Cecil enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and particularly bar-b-queing on the grill.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Lori Farris Adams of Pope MS, 2 daughters, Tracey Renee Adams of Cabot, AR, Kristy Leigh Adams of Southaven, MS, 2 sons, Charles Ronald Adams of Arlington, TN and Jeffery Guy Adams of Lewisburg, MS, 11 grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
