Alma Gardner
Former Ottumwan Alma Gardner, 89, of Independence, Mo., died there on Feb. 11, 1985.
She was born Dec. 21, 1895, at Lineville to Thomas and Samantha Allard Dooley. She married Paul Gardner who died in 1937.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois Scully of Independence, Mo.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gilbert Dooley of Gresham, Ore.
The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Shaul Cemetery, the Rev. Wilbert Trusheim of the Willard Street Methodist Church officiating.
Ott and Mitchell Funeral Home in Independence, Mo. is in charge of arrangements.
