Jacob was buried in American Mechanics Cemetery in Philadelphia. That cemetery was closed in 1951, and is now defunct.
In 1951 Jacob Rose's remains were removed from American Mechanics Cemetery, along with those of his parents, John F. and Julia (Pray) Flannery, and re-interred in Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
