CLARKSBURG -- Mrs. Mary Christine Bradley, 80, of 620 West Pike Street, Clarksburg, passed away April 11, 2004, at the Crestview Manor, Jane Lew, WV.
She was born Dec. 30, 1923, in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late George Clifford Shears and Effie Blanch Keister Shears.
M. Christine Bradley is survived by two sons, Stephen D. Bradleyof Alexandria, VA, and Leslie C. Bradley and wife Claire of the Philippines. She is also survived by two brothers, George C. Shears of Clarksburg and Ted Shears of Kingman, AZ; one stepsister, Joann Miley of Chambersburg, PA; three grandchildren, Bryant, Rockwood and Heather Bradley; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death not only by her parents, but also by one brother, Arnett Shears, and one stepsister, Patricia Judd of Gloucester, Mass.
Mrs. Bradley lived in the Gloucester, Massachusetts, area for several years, where she worked for the Strong Leather Co. as a master craftsperson. She was a member of the Clarksburg Senior Citizens Center. She was a Protestant by faith.
Friends and family may call at the McGlumphy Funeral Home/Chapel in Clarksburg Thursday, April 22, 2004, from 1-3 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. in the McGlumphy Church Chapel, with the Reverend Walt Mullins officiating. Interment will be in the Brick Church Cemetery.
