Idella (Haygood) Anderson was born December 28, 1880 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of George Haygood and Annie (Coats) Haygood (ca 1857-1931).

She was married to Albert Van Anderson (1879-1941), and his mother was Rosie Williams.

Living at 108 Lewis Street, Nashville, Idella was 59 years old and married when she died of "pulmonary edema due to cerebral hemorrhage" on July 26, 1940 at Nashville's Hubbard Hospital where she had been for 23 days. Burial was three days later in Greenwood Cemetery, Nasiville.
