Member of St. Andrew's Lodge No. 619 F. & A.M., and Champion Council No. 2, JOUAM of Springfield, in which he served in all offices of the local council, was prominent in the state council and was a past state counselor of Ohio.
At the time of his death he was survived by his wife, Margaret; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Davis of Swansea, Mass; 2 sons, James Parkison of Springfield and Jacob Parkison of Morongo Valley, California;2 brothers, Frank Lawrence Parkison and Jack (Dutch) Parkison both of Springfield; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
