Daniel M. McBride of Mount Prospect for over 30 years
Funeral services for Daniel M. McBride, 72, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, Mt. Prospect. Born March 24, 1931, in Burlington, Iowa, he died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Daniel retired as a systems analyst for Unisys Corp in Chicago. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1952, where he lettered in football and basketball. Mr. McBride then signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, after serving two years in the Army. Daniel is survived by his children, Randal (Julie) McBride and Ronald McBride; his grandchildren, Miranda, Marissa, Melinda, Becky and Danielle; and by his siblings, Frances M. …
