Juozapas Bandzinas, son of peasants of the Tauragė rural district Vincentas Bandzinas and his wife Ona Gramailytė, was born in the village of Zaltriškiai on March 24, 1887. He was baptized on the same day in the Gaurė RCC by the vicar priest Antanas Bizauskas. The godparents were peasants Juozapas Bandzinas and Marijona Briužaitė (rec. no. 36, page 36)

The marriage was performed by the priest Kaulakis after 3 banns announced on January 22, 29 and February 2. The groom's parents were Vincentas Bandzinas and Ona Gramailaitė. The bride's parents were peasants Juozapas Mačiulis and Ona Paulauskaitė. The witnesses were Nikodemas Ašmonas, Petras Urbutis, Mykolas Bandzinas and Vincas Paulauskas (rec. no. 2, page 59)

He left behind his wife Marijona, age 48, son Stanislovas, age 11, daughters Ona, age 20, and Brigyta, age 7. His body was buried by the rector priest Šleivys on February 28, 1932 in the parish cemetery of Gaurė (rec. no. 14, page 21)
