Frank E. Affolter, 75, native of the town of Lee and a farmer living on the Penny Street Road for the past 20 years, died at his home at 12:45 am today. He had been in failing health for some time. He was born in the town of Lee October 15, 1862, a son of the late Albert and Rosa Affolter. On March 24, 1883 he married Miss Edith Hudson at Rome, who survives.
He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Fred Wilson, Munnsville, and Mrs. Edward Wilson, Rome, three sons, Charles H., Stokes, Everett, New London, and Leo, Rome, two sisters, Mrs. Rose O'Brien and Miss Lillian Affolter, Rome, and William Ward, a son-in-law. He leaves also 15 grandchildren.
